Cartherics to present at the ANZ Biologics Festival 2026

Cartherics is pleased to announce that Dr Madeline Cao, Head of Manufacturing Development and Dr Walid Azar, Chief Scientific Officer, will present at the upcoming ANZ Biologics Festival in Melbourne, showcasing Cartherics’ progress in building a discovery-to-clinic engine for scalable, off-the-shelf cell therapies.

Dr. Cao will deliver a presentation titled, ‘Off-the-Shelf’ Immuno-Cell Therapies: Manufacturing Process Development, Scale-Up and Tech Transfer’ on 4 February at 4:35pm (AEDT). The presentation will address the following key topics:

  • Manufacturing process development for off-the-shelf cell therapies
  • Scale-up from bench-top to patient bedside
  • Technology transfer into GMP cleanroom operations

Dr Azar’s presentation titled: Powering the Future of Cell Therapy: Capability Building, Challenges, and What’s Next at Cartherics’, will take place on 4 February, at 4.55pm (AEDT) and will cover:

  • How Cartherics has built a discovery-to-clinic engine
  • Why cell therapies have transformed blood cancers, but still face major hurdles in solid tumours
  • Cartherics’ approach to overcoming key challenges in solid tumour development

Over the past decade Cartherics has built a discovery-to-clinic engine that integrates pre-clinical research, GMP manufacturing, and clinical translation, enabling the rapid development of scalable, off-the-shelf cell therapies designed to treat some of the most challenging cancers and unmet medical needs.

With lead programs in ovarian cancer and endometriosis, Cartherics is advancing its mission to transform women’s health through a growing pipeline of innovative off-the-shelf immunotherapies.

We look forward to connecting with industry peers at ANZ Biologics Festival to share our latest progress and explore new collaborations as we accelerate the development of scalable, off-the-shelf cell therapies for patients with solid tumours and endometriosis.
