Cartherics to present at ThymOz 2023
Cartherics will be presenting at the ThymOZ 2023 International Conference on T Cells to be held from 22 -26 March at Heron Island in Queensland, Australia. The conference covers a broad range of topics including T cell differentiation and function, stromal cell biology, immunotherapy and tissue regeneration.
Rachelle Duffin, PhD Candidate at Cartherics will be presenting her work on restoring thymus function in immunodeficiency. Her abstract titled, ‘Developing PSC-derived off-the-shelf therapies for restoring thymus function in immunodeficiency’ will be presented on Friday 24th March in the 5.40 – 6.40pm poster session.
Rachelle said, “I’m looking forward to attending the conference and meeting other delegates that are experts in T cell biology. The conference brings together global experts in thymus biology and provides a great opportunity for networking with delegates working in the field.”
Cartherics’ Chief Scientific Officer, Dr Richard Boyd, is one of the founders of ThymOz. The success of the ensuing series of conferences corner-stoned the Global Thymus Network and is arguably the pre-eminent international conference embracing T cells. “Its participants are the “who’s who” of the field. For Cartherics to present to such an esteemed audience not only raises our profile but also keeps us abreast of the latest advances and opens the opportunities for important strategic collaborations.”
